Nine For Dinner

Two more cows showed up this morning.  I thought they might be a pair, ie cow and calf, but this evening I’m not so sure.  I’m more inclined to think they might just be traveling around together.  I can’t tell who has seniority amongst the cows now.  Nor can I tell them apart.  This makes a total of eleven different moose that have visited my yard this season.

I stood on the backdoor steps and took some shots…

Wonderful (close up) pictures. When I was watching this morning the web cam seemed to get jostled and go in the direction of a room in your house or maybe you were adjusting the camera. I am really enjoying the five second intervals. You pick up so much more of their movements.
Happy New Year to everyone!!

Pook

Just wondering if Primo might have been transfered to the Grand Mesa in CO. They are re-introducing moose to the Grand Mesa.

Good Morning Pook! You have a yard full that’s for sure - a whole herd from what your pics show. Hope your food supply doesn’t run out. You’re going to need some more pans
to set out in case they don’t share when they all come at once. Thanks again for your
web cam - love it!

I have been to Alaska twice hoping desperately to see a moose. I love them especially their faces. I saw nothing, I have come to think I have a natural moose repellent built into me. I just found this site from someone on Snowmancam. Thank you for documenting and sharing these wonderful creatures. I look forward to “lurking” frequently.

It seems that Alfalfa is there most of the time. Is he the “main man” of the territory?
