Another Bull Moose Arrives!
January 21st, 2010
This makes the 13th moose for this season. It was too dark for me to get a photo of him so I’ll update this post when I do. He’s just got 2 tines on each side, no “plate” area, so I’d say he was younger than Moose #12. Haven’t seen Urkel or the youngest lone bull in several days. I’m quite surprised to see a new critter at this time of year. It has to be due to our lack of snow this year. However a major storm arrives this evening through Sunday morning.

WOW This is a never ending story! Next year you’ll need to take reservations!
Are you ok with the feed supply? One thing for sure, Pook you know your Moose - seems
impossible to me to tell them apart. I see one on the cam and have to go back to your pics
to see which one it is from your descriptions. Love your cam and thank you so much again and again for sharing the Moose with us. ((hugs))
I am just fascinated with all of your pictures and updates. Can’t thank you enough for continuing to share all of this and caring for these beautiful creatures!
I just love your sight, I would love to see all these animals. We have to travel a few hours to see them and then sometimes we see one. I am a huge Moose person have one tatooed on my back and my house is full of them.Thank you so much for having this sight and making my passion for these wonderfulls animals so much more fun!Thank you from New Hampshire
I was in Park City earlier this month for some great skiing and who greeted us on the road as we approached the area but a beautiful bull moose and his mate standing alongside the road. I was so taken by their beauty and wanted to see more….so when I got back home to Minnesota I found your site. Your amazing and thank you so much for making it possible for people like me to enjoy watching them in the wild! It’s so much better than behind fences! Will we be able to see them after they are gone from this area?
Hi,
I am envious of your Moose!!! I have been fascinated for years about Moose, even tried going to a zoo that had them, but they were all the way at the other end of the habitat, so they looked like little specks.
I am curious if you are ever out near them (like when you put fresh food out or even go outside?)
Seeing the pictures of them fighting, or whatever they were doing where one was up on their hind legs kind of is scary if you happen to walk outside and they are right there.
Thanks so much for the updates, pictures and the cam!
Carol from Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Hi,
It’s Carol from Montreal again… just read your old post about feeding them, so you have been near them… have you actually touched any?
They are very trusting of you if they come around while you put food out.
Thanks,
Carol
Your site will be missed by many but we hope to see your moose next fall. I hope you get donations for your part in feeding them…….where’s the “stimulus pkg” when you need it, right?. Maybe you could put your address for moose food donations……that should help you alot, I would think.
